Registration Day 2008

Wednesday, January 23rd, 2008

Season 2008 is almost upon us and Rego Day this year will be held at the Gore Hill Club Rooms on Sunday 24 February between 10am and 2pm.

Registration will be the same cost as last year $150 for the first player in a family and $100 for each subsequent player in the same family. Auskick will remain at $100.

2008 Registration Forms for current players will be e-mailed to Coaches in early February for distribution to team lists. Once you have received your form check the details, make any corrections and bring it along to Rego Day. Checking and completing your form before you arrive will speed up the process for you and for administration on the day.

New players can download a blank 2008 Registration Form and the 2008 Code of Conduct by clicking the links below. It is very important that all players and parents read and understand the Code of Conduct.

Payment this year will be by way of cash or cheque only.

For any questions on the registration of new or existing players please contact Simon Bell on 0400 219750.

2007 Grand Final Day

Wednesday, January 23rd, 2008

2007 saw the Willoughby Club enjoy its most successful onfield year. Not only did the Club experience its highest growth rate in 2007 to the point of bursting at the seams the onfield success followed as the boys and girls across all age groups applied themselves to footy.

Grand Final Day, held at the fantastic facilities of Macquarie University, saw the mighty Wildcats represented in 5 of the 7 age groups contested on the day with the U12 Division 1 and U14 Division 2 teams bringing home Premiership Cups!

A very big thankyou goes out to all the Coaches, Managers and other Club volunteers that contributed to such a successful year on and off the field. The Club would not continue to function without the input of all these volunteers who manage to squeeze in some footy work in addition to all their other work.

A vote of thanks also to Clive Stillman and his crew and the Sydney North GSJ for organising such as well run day at Macquarie. It was a lot of games with a lot of kids and no doubt required a great deal of planning to pull off so successfully!

Go Wildcats in 2008!

2007 Trivia Night

Wednesday, January 23rd, 2008

Once again the Club held an extremely successful fund raiser organised by the U11 group. Meeting and then exceeding our previous years record the valuable funds will go towards further improvements to the Club including a new set of goal posts for the 9s, 10s,11s and 12s and additional scoreboard to allow us to run games concurently across the ground, replacement equipment (such as our own siren) and additional jumpers as the Club continues to grow.
